The $1 Trillion Plan

By eliminating 5 federal departments, Ron Paul will cut $1 trillion dollars from the Federal Budget in the first year of taking office.  While $1 trillion seems impossible, the truth is that its rather easy.  By eliminating the Departments of Energy, HUD, Commerce, Interior, and Education, abolishing the Transportation Security Administration, and returning most spending to 2006 levels Ron Paul will easily reach this monumental goal.
